College Possible Philadelphia

Over Spring Break, we provide multiple campus visits for students to come see what each local university has to offer. This year, we went to Community College of Philadelphia 🦁Temple University 🦉, and Drexel University 🐲

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors were able to walk around campus and explore, listen to valuable information through presentations, and connect with current students to have all their questions answered.

Thank you Laurie Barrow and Phil Nuewiarowski from CCP, Nadiyah Timmons and the Klein College of Media and Communication from Temple, and our own College Possible student Chayapha Punsuk and her friend Samara from Drexel for all your work and support on these visits and letting us on your campuses.

At this week's session at the Academy at Palumbo, our students broke up into groups, researched colleges, and presented what they found. It was great to see which colleges they chose, what facts they learned, and how this will help them in the college application process. Colleges presented included Temple, NYU, and Reed College. Our coaches Lauryn and Carrie were great facilitators, supporting the students as they shared their presentations. After-school sessions are great ways to learn, grow, and develop skills.
