Featured Artist: Silver Path Jewelry

Silver Path Jewelry is a Philadelphia-based metalsmithing studio creating hand-forged jewelry and small metal objects inspired by nature, folklore, and organic forms.

These magnetic mushrooms are made from reclaimed vintage copper flashing paired with copper tubing and strong rare earth magnets. Each mushroom is individually cut, formed, textured, and patinated by hand. I was drawn to the idea of “foraging” overlooked materials and transforming them into playful functional sculpture with a second life.

Featured Artist: Amir-Gabriel Gad

Amir-Gabriel Gad is a Philadelphia based collagist, playwright, and puddle of ooze. They approach art-making with a hunter's philosophy; every part can be used. They find holiness in the tangible permanence of cutting and gluing. Pulling from imagery rescued from lot sales, thrift store, and slightly wet sidewalk cardboard boxes that say "free", Amir tries to incorporate even paper scraps made in the process into the collage itself. Amir utilizes shape, eroticism, abstraction, texture, striving to make every piece as organic as possible.
