4 years today - it’s a strange sensation when, in order to find pictures of adam, i have to go to my photo library and click on MY face under the “people” section. one of the scariest parts about losing is someone is the fear that one day, you won’t even remember what they looked like. i notice that sometimes, when i try and recall a memory of adam, it’s my own face that i see. on days like today, i spend some time building the image of his face back up in my head. on days like today i remind myself - my brother was really gay.
