Even after a few years have now passed, the untimely, tragic, heart shattering death of perhaps the greatest frontman ever to grace the stage - our Alien overlord, penguin ra**st, creator of the human race as we know it - Dave Brockie (ODERUS), is a tough damn pill to swallow and an even more difficult truth to accept.

I'm so thankful for having the privilege to see Gwar during their prime and countless, bloody times throughout the years. Here is one such example; Wacken Open Air 2009, the band headlined mainstage on the very final night. "Go To Hell", my all time favorite track, was played that night on rare occasion; the 36 fifths of jager consumed over 5 days left me with a hazy memory of it, though thank goodness for proshot footage like this:
