Okay friends- lets take a moment to enjoy good things!
I am so honored to be one of the artists chosen to participate in NE 250- Threads of History with and :)

I have been really focused on creating print blocks that represent the architecture and foliage of Tacony and Northeast Philadelphia. I’m learning so much about the neighborhood I’ve lived in for over ten years now and its contributions to Philadelphia. I’ve also been having fun illustrating cute kawaii coloring pages of historical figures from or having lived in Philadelphia.

There will be many events that you can attend over the next few months about the history- you can make prints, there’s also going to be cyanotype crafts with flags and so much more. I’m proud to be a part of such an amazing team of artists who all bring unique creativity to the table!

Is there a historical figure from Philadelphia that you think I should be illustrating? I’d love to hear about your connections to northeast Philadelphia and the places that you are fond of.
