Our last day of our Pal Field trip to Philadelphia entailed our last stop being at the Eastern State penitentiary in Philly. This prison at one time housed American Gangster Al Capone. Was an awesome audio tour set up by staff there. Philly trip was an excellent educational experience had by all. Enjoy the photos of the trip.

Day 2 in Philadelphia with our Pal educational field trip was a busy one with zero downtime. What an exciting day of festivities. As soon as our feet hit the floor, after breakfast, we went to Independence Hational Historical Park, which included: Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the Old City Area. Once the tour was over at Independence National Historical Park, we went to explore the Franklin Institute, which provided our students a wealth of information as it relates to Sciene , Engineering, Physics and Aerospace Engineering. After lunch at the Shake Shack, we took the kids to the Philadelphia Museum of Arts, which allowed the kids to run up the steps of museum and get photo's with the world famous Rocky Statue Just when you think things couldn't get better, we ended our day by taking kids on an engaging investigative tour at the Netflix House Experience. I want to thank Erie News Now and Pennsylvania Capitol Journalist Kara Jeffers for making the trip down from Harrisburg, to spend the day and provide Erie Pal media coverage yesterday. Thanks for spending time with our kids. Enjoy the photo's.

Day 1 Philadelphia a blast. After checking into the hotel, we went to Otherworld Museum, in which the kids got to enjoy bright colors, mazes, optical illusion rooms etc...After a brief evening walk at Penns Landing, we came back to hotel, got pizzas 🍕 and kids ended day with a rooftop swim. Today is exciting day to do our historical tour of Philadelphia and our country's birthplace.

The 6th Annual Pal Camp at the Erie Boys and Girls Club Camp ended with some fireworks. On the last day , we put the kids through a grueling and challenging obstacle course before lunch and pizza party. After lunch we had water balloon toss , sq**rt gun fights and lots of water chaos. What a blast. Great Camp this week, in which we had a lot of life discussions with the kids. The kids really stepped up this week, challenged themselves and at the end of the day we all came together as one big giant team and heartbeat. Great job officers and Pal kids who helped and participated this week. 2026 PAL Junior Police Academy Cadets 💙 will be announced soon. Enjoy the photos.
