🚨 THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, PHILADELPHIA. 🚨

I hit a MASSIVE pothole on a public street in the City of Philadelphia — one that’s clearly been there long enough to become a permanent landmark — and it damaged my car. Bent rim. Tire ruined. Alignment off. Hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars out of MY pocket because the City refuses to maintain its roads.

Let’s be clear: this is NOT an “accident.” This is negligence.

We pay city taxes. We pay registration fees. We pay gas taxes. We follow the rules. Meanwhile, the streets look like war zones and the City just shrugs while residents are left with repair bills and unsafe roads.

So yes — I am holding the City of Philadelphia responsible for the damage caused by its failure to maintain basic infrastructure. No warning signs. No cones. No repairs. Just a giant crater waiting to destroy someone’s vehicle — or worse, seriously injure someone.

This isn’t just about me. How many other cars have been damaged? How many people have to deal with this before something changes?
