The Tacony LAB Community Arts Center

It’s here!!! Our Northeast 250 Weekend!! Come out to the LAB tonight to add finishing touches to over 30 community flags we’ve made since our first event in March! Join in on our make a take woven bowl craft, enjoy snacks, and meet some of our artists from the project! Tomorrow, July 4th, you can find us at Freedom Fest at Pleasant Hill Park starting at 5 pm and stick around for an impressive fireworks display! And finally, we’d love to see you all at Glen Foerd this Sunday July 5th 12-4 pm for our culminating Threads of History celebration. Meet the Artist team behind the project, check out their own work for purchase, grab some food from food trucks and experience all of our flags displayed together!!

Today!! Our last all ages Threads of History event before our big 250 weekend!! Come out to All Saints Episcopal Church (9601 Frankford Ave) to make a woven bowl and take it home with you! Learn how to block print and take this last chance to make your mark on one of our community cyanotype flags!

Tomorrow night we’re snacking and printing!! Come on out to the LAB Friday June 26th 6-8 pm to contribute some more patches to our cyanotype flags! As we count down the days to our FINAL event on July 5th we’re trying to incorporate the stamp of our community as much as we can!!
