✨Meet Josh, our IV Float Nurse here at Meeting Point Health!✨
Joshua has always had a passion for taking care of others. He started considering nursing as a career while seeing his father spend a week in the intensive care unit. The nurses worked day and night taking care of his loved one all while maintaining a friendly-approachable demeanor. This experience showed him the importance of nursing and encouraged him to switch his major from business to nursing. Joshua achieved his nursing degree and immediately went on to work in the same hospital his Dad visited just three years prior. He was able to work alongside the same nurses who saved his father’s life. While working night shifts at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma, Joshua obtained his Bachelor’s degree online and continued doing Intensive care for two years. Joshua then wanted a change due to the high stress of night shift and worked at McBride Orthopedic Surgical Hospital, where he was able to hone his IV skills in pre-operative nursing.
On April 18, 2025, Joshua married the love of his life and promptly moved to Philadelphia the next week. Joshua was interested in integrative medicine due to his interest in hyper wellness and recovery optimization. He shadowed with Meeting Point Health during his honeymoon and immediately fell in love with the unique patient care that Meeting Point offers. Being able to sit alongside patient’s health journeys and seeing health optimization occur was a welcomed change of pace from the hustle of intensive care. Joshua focuses on building a unique and personal relationship with each person he encounters. When Joshua is not at work he enjoys Working out, Reading science-fiction, quality time with friends and exploring the city while running. Joshua is signed up to run his fourth marathon at the Philadelphia Marathon in November.
