💛Friday 7/31 from 2:00-3:30pm - Open Playtime for kids ages 0-6 🧸🚂 We bring the toys, you bring the energy!

💚Saturdays 7/11 and 7/18 from 11:00am-1:00pm - Community Mural Paint Day 🎨🖌️ All ages are invited to help bring a library mural to life! Music & snacks provided. Outdoors at the Fishtown Rec Center picnic area. Rain date Saturday 7/25.

🩵Saturday 7/18 at 11:00am - Paper Craft Club ✂️ Come make something cool with paper! All supplies provided or BYO.

💙Saturday 7/18 at 2:00pm - Historical Storytelling for all ages with Historic Philadelphia 📜 Come experience history as told through the experiences of Philadelphians like Octavius Catto, Betsy Ross, and more.

💜Saturday 7/25 at 11:00am - Fishtown Book Club’s third meeting! We’ll be reading The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson 📖 Copies available at the library!

Most free library locations will have the following hours this week:

Friday, July 3: Closing early at 12:00pm
Saturday July 4: CLOSED
Sunday July 5: CLOSED
Monday July 6: Open regular hours

Select library locations will be open from 9am-7pm on Friday and Saturday operating as emergency cooling centers due to the forthcoming heat health emergency. 🌈Join us this Thursday 6/25 at 10:30am for a special edition of Storytime Adventures🌈

There will be a special guest to join us as we be read books about self expression and affirming identities, as well as singing, dancing, and expressing ourselves!

Children 0-6 and caregivers/older siblings are welcome.

🌞In favorable weather, this event will take place outside in the Fishtown Recreation Center picnic area, directly across the street from the library.

☔In unfavorable weather, this event will take place on the library’s 3rd floor, accessible by stairs or elevator.

Love crosswords and other puzzle games?

Join the Fishtown Library and professional games editor Raymond Simon on Monday, June 29 at 5:00PM as we group-solve our way through some puzzles. In this special Pride-themed edition, puzzles by LGBTQ+ creators will be provided.

Free and open to adults of all skill levels!

This program will take place on our third floor, accessible by elevator.
