They filed asylum claims after entering and have worked hard while here in the U.S. to obtain their work permits, find legal work, build a life for their family, and contribute to their communities. Harrisburg Catholic clergy members, a representative of Movement of Immigrant Leaders of Pennsylvania, and other immigrant leaders in the Diocese of Harrisburg led a prayer service calling for his release on April 7, 2026 in front of St Patrick's Cathedral in Harrisburg.
