The Papermill Food and Essentials Distribution Hub

I promise now and forever that the Papermill Food Hub would NEVER.

Tired but astronomically happy.

Ever since I was young my dream was to marry a very rich man and use his money to make the world the place I knew it could be.

As a ‘Professional Philanthropist’ I would have the resources to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless and bring everyone up to the same standard of living I enjoyed. Inequality truly filled my 6th grade brain with so much rage and, honestly, it’s only gotten worse since.

Last week, when picking up some produce donations I met a family of 9 who had recently emigrated to the United States and really needed help. Today I drove up to their house and dropped off three huge bags of food, some household and cleaning supplies, diapers, and a 12 pack of Coca-cola.

I do not need a rich husband to change the world because I have the Papermill Food Hub. The donors who make this possible allow me to provide immediate and effective help to humans who need it. And as I listen to my military history podcasts driving around the city I could not be happier.

I was 33 when I started the hub and on Tuesday I turned 39. I fully believed for the first 33 years of my life that this world was a terrible place full of terrible people. Since then I’ve experienced hope.

Thank you to the whole Hub Club the world over. You feed and help so many people and you’ve changed me entirely.
