Merry Christmas ✝️❤️🎄🙌🏾

If I’m being honest, this holiday season has probably been one of the most challenging I’ve faced yet. This year has brought so much that I’ve had to lament — financially, relationally, spiritually, and within my family. And while I know God is using everything I’ve walked through to conform me to the image of His Son, if I’m honest… I’ve absolutely hated it.

The sadness. The frustration. The sanctification.
The pruning and refining meant to glorify God — the way He chooses to do these things isn’t how I would choose them for myself.

I am tired. I’m weary. Trusting God, waiting on Him, and walking through these seasons is not easy.

Sometimes people in our community mean well, but it’s not always helpful to be reminded that singleness is “a season” or that it’s “good for us.” Sometimes what we really need is permission to still hope — to still believe that God can answer us in this area too.

All of that being said, Jesus is truly the reason for this season. And because of Christ, I have hope that where I am today is not where I’ll be forever. God is doing many things at the same time, even when I can’t see or understand them all.

So my prayer for you today is this: wherever you find yourself — joyful, sad, grieving, or lamenting — that God would meet you there. That He would love on you, comfort you, and remind you that He sees you. He hasn’t forgotten you. His eyes are upon you.

God is faithful. And because of Christ, we can have hope today.
