Aku Ọsẹ Ọ̀ṣun ati Ifa!!! Oore Yèyé ooo Ọ̀ṣun! Àṣẹ ooo

Ọ̀ṣun, our Great Mother is Iwa Pele, beauty, fertility, prosperity and wealth. She is compassionate and nurturing in nature, and she uses water for healing. Ọ̀ṣun is also a fierce warrior especially a protector of women and children. I am extremely grateful to edadudutv for capturing moments of my Isese initiation and using your gift of photography to grasp the essence of this Divine Being that governs my life. I am also grateful that Baba Ọlájídé place one of the images in his latest Photo Diary! Over 300 pages of images that he captured of the Isese Lagba and Vodun Way of Life that are poignant and vivid. He includes notes that give great detailed descriptions of each photo and the spiritual vocabulary both in Yoruba and English for any reader to grasp the concept of these spirituality ways of life. To view photos of spiritual people that have supported me on this journey in addition to have crossed paths with, converse with or heard beautiful things about along my own personal spiritual journey and to have my photo alongside theirs is not only an honor, but a humbling experience.
