Because if Charles Schulz had been a little more of a horror movie fan… then maybe these would’ve been the real Great Pumpkins! 🎃 See what I did there? The whole thing is full of puns, like Peanuts became Pumpkins, know?
Anyway, since as far as I know Chuck wasn’t (or his publisher wouldn’t let him), so I decided to take matters into my own hands. And just in time for Halloween, here’s the Pumpkins Gang: a few of horror film’s finest, reimagined as if they’d wandered John Carpenter style straight outta the late night Saturday cineplex amd into the Sunday comics.
