Inclusive Voice Therapy

Any other private practice SLPs hem and haw over what to name your practice?
For me, it was name after name that didn’t fit. I asked friends, family, and scoured the internet and Facebook for inspiration.
It wasn’t until I had a bad personal experience with a provider that it just clicked.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I often feel out of place or out of the norm, especially in a medical setting. While this is improving as a whole, the fact remains that some medical providers don’t foster a welcoming environment for anyone who isn’t straight, white, cis, or neurotypical.
From the first session to the last, we will foster an Inclusive and welcoming environment that values individuality.
