My Grandpop is gone.
The original “Mick” McKeown passed away last week at the age of 94.

Yep, they started with him.

See my Grandpop was old school. He loved people, he loved sales and he loved the hustle.

Those are three things I still thank him for today.

Back in the day, he sold 5 houses in one night. Must be some kinda record. He thought maybe selling homes might be his thing.

It was.

For another 70 years.

He was a guy who wore an armor of positivity. And that protected him from the bs of life.
Now I’m finally ready to pick up his armor and hustle on.

As a gov/con expert, I combine DC insider knowledge, salesmanship and the right relationships to win BIG for my clients.

But I have a long way to go to match up to the original Mick. He taught me three things that I still use everyday:

Sales is more than just a job. It’s an artform.

Do one or two things well and there’ll always be a place for you in the market.

Competition is irrelevant when people like you and know you care.

The world is different to what he knew when he was my age. People are more self-absorbed than ever. Especially in business.
They just want the sale.

I was taught better than that. And I’m thankful.
