The EMC Medical Receptionist Is:

Duties:
- Greeting patients and visitors both in person or on the telephone
- Quickly and accurately answering or referring questions and issue
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Maintaining patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of the patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding the provider of service delays.
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Maintaining a clean and safe reception area.
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by filing, retrieving, and updating patient records.
- Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtaining revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
- Maintaining business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Assisting patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
Protecting patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Controlling operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Excel Medical Center, LLC is growing and we are looking for reliable, detail-oriented, organized, problem-solving Administrative Assistants for members of our Administration Team with strong data entry, time management, and multi-tasking skills
The EMC Administrative Assistant Is:
- An expert with managing the schedules/calendars of the Executive Team including setting appointments, making travel arrangements, registration and accommodations for conferences, and checking in daily/weekly to prioritize meetings and arrangements.
- Knowledgeable in basic computer functions and well versed in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in a variety of writing styles, and documenting Information, taking minutes at meetings, creating agendas, notices, and memos, and distributing to the appropriate parties.
- Organized and knows how to prioritize important tasks.
- Able to communicate with persons outside of the organization and represent the practice in a professional manner to the public and external sources.
- Able to make independent decisions, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
- Able to master our EMR system & company policy and procedures.
HIPPA compliant
- Able to properly communicate & collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management, and clients on a regular basis.
Duties:
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Performing minor accounting duties
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
- Answering phone calls and messages in a polite and professional manner
- Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
- Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
- Additional tasks as assigned
