REMINDER: Don’t let working from home become living at work. 👩🏻💻
If you work from home and struggle with setting boundaries for yourself — you’re not alone.
I’ve been working remotely ever since I entered the work force a little over three months ago, and in the beginning, my brain never shut off.
I would start working before 8 AM in hopes of finishing everything that wanted to accomplish earlier in the day. In reality, new tasks would get in the way, and my days only grew longer.
I was only able to start setting boundaries and fully separating my home and work life when I decided it was time for a change of scenery.
Whether it be going downstairs to my apartment lobby, to a local library, or coffee shop — leaving my small apartment has given me the ability to compartmentalize my life in a new way.
If you work from home, how do you flip the switch between work and home life? Do you have any tips for differentiating the two? 👇
