From our recent “Time to Rise” video, watch the many ways the Friends Select community has been rising to the occasion, including our commitment to empowering students with a sense of agency and voice, so they can become agents of social change.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Celebrate a Decade of Growth event at Friends Select School! When we started planning this event, we began working with The Others () and Rolling Lemon (.co) to create a video that highlights our progress as a Quaker school over the past 10 years and what defines a Friends Select educational experience. Together, we produced “Time to Rise,” which refers to when members of our community are moved to stand and speak during Meeting for Worship, as well as the many ways in which we have been rising (and continue to rise) as a school community.
