Birding is COOL! 🐦 Join us on June 10 at 6pm at the Discovery Center for an evening of nature, birds, and connection (and cool points).

We will explore the 38-acre Strawberry Mansion Reservoir as Damien Ruffner of The Discovery Center acts as our guide in the search for the coolest birbs (who are we kidding, all of them are cool). 🦉 Want to know something even more exciting? Over 170 bird species have been recorded at the Reservoir, so you’ll have the chance to yell things like: “OMG, IS THAT A SCARLET TANAGER?!”, “Just kidding, it’s just a leaf...”, and maybe even “Look at that pigeon (they deserve love too)!!” 😍

We know this all sounds overwhelmingly awesome. So whether you're a seasoned birder or just bird-curious, this is the perfect way to connect with Philadelphia’s urban wildlife, meet fellow sustainability enthusiasts, and learn more about your local watershed (and don’t forget about the cool points you'll gain when you can properly identify birds).
