Why do some people lose interest after the first date and never give a connection a chance to develop?

Sometimes there truly isn’t compatibility.
But other times, it may be worth asking whether fear, unrealistic expectations, emotional avoidance, or dating burnout are influencing how we approach relationships.

Does it really take 28 days to make a habit?

The idea is such a commonly quoted belief, but it’s not entirely accurate for everyone or every habit.

Research suggests that the time required to form a new habit can vary widely among individuals and depending on the complexity of the habit itself.

Studies have shown that building a habit can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months 📆

The 28-day concept might be a general guideline for simple habits, but more complex behaviors could take longer to become ingrained. So, some habits might take less time to form, while others could take longer than the supposed 28-day mark.

What do you do if you can’t give up social media but want your time on it to be safer for your mental health?

1⃣ Start by carving out time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Whether it’s reading, painting, or going for a walk, these moments of self-care are like mini-resets for your mind.

2⃣ Establishing a routine that includes regular exercise, good sleep, and balanced meals is crucial. Exercise not only keeps your body fit but also releases those feel-good endorphins. 3⃣ And remember, don’t hesitate to lean on your support network – talking to friends, family, or professionals can make a world of difference.

🌈 Happy Pride Month.

Everyone deserves a space where they can thrive as their authentic self.

I've seen how powerful a sense of belonging can be for mental well-being. Feeling accepted, supported, and valued isn't just important socially—it plays a meaningful role in our emotional health.

This month is an opportunity to celebrate identity, resilience, community, and the courage it takes to live authentically.

Let's continue creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves, where differences are respected, and where conversations about mental health remain open and compassionate.

Wishing everyone a Pride Month filled with connection, self-acceptance, and support. 🌈
