Revive Wild

HEY! We have had over 350 new followers in the past month and I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is MJ Rondinella, I live in Philadelphia with my wife, 4 dogs, 1 cat, many coffee machines (sorry ). I love blue drinks, sunsets, mountains, and spaghetti. I am a Nature Connected Guide/Coach and also the founder of Revive Wild.
▫️
The concept for Revive Wild began to come together in 2016 during a challenging time of grief & loss. I was facing the unexpected, sudden passing of my father and it was a very difficult time that lead to deep self-reflection and questioning everything in my life.
▫️
I had been working a job that I had no interest in for 7 years, my days were wasted on social media, had no passions or motivations and felt completely stagnant in my every day life. After his passing, I woke up and realized that I was meant for more. That we are ALL meant for more.
▫️
This lead my journey to Boulder, Colorado where I enrolled in a Nature Connected Coaching program and while I thought I would be learning to help others, in turn, I helped myself. I knew the path I needed to take, and that has brought me to where I am today.
▫️
I am grateful to be here and super excited for what is to come with Revive Wild.

"What do you wanna be when you grow up?" is usually asked to you around the age where you've barely just started to make words into sentences. Think about this for a second. You are being asked who you want to be in the future, instead of who you are now. At such an early age in our lives, we are already being conditioned to focus on what's to come instead of the present.
◽️
Then a little later on in life, we reach this road where we feel like we have to let go of our childhood in order to truly become an adult. It's usually a series of very bittersweet moments. I remember struggling with this time period because I didn't want to let go of that part of me, but I also didn't want kids my age to think I wasn't cool. For a while I still secretly kept playing with toys, and living in the land of make believe, and felt embarrassed for just wanting to play.
▫️
As I got older, I realized that no matter what I tried, I could never really ignore my inner child. It's just a piece of who I am and I appropriately named that part Peter Pan. I'll always jump on the trampoline with some kids, slightly drool (ok not literally guys) over the newest Ghostbuster toys in the store, and still want to play a giant game of Manhunt with flashlights at night (DM me, let's do this locals!). This is me and I will eagerly embrace my inner child until my soul leaves this vessel.
◽️
Take a few moments out of today to acknowledge the inner child within you. It's there, it always has been, and it will continue to be. Just maybe today, you step out of your comfort zone and hear that child calling to you. It may need some healing, nurturing and love.
