Beyond the Bars

The Philly Youth Music Fest is a citywide celebration of all of the talented young artists and leaders in our community! Too often are our city’s youth portrayed in a negative light when we see them every day doing positive things in our community. Whether it is helping run food banks, tutoring younger youth or growing towards their goals we see our city improve every day because of their leaders. The Philly Youth Music Fest is in recognition of their talent, their leadership and their compassion and is an annual festival where youth from all over the city gather to perform, network and be celebrated! 

There are additionally so many incredible orgs in our city that build with our youth. The Philly Youth Music Fest is a further testament to the power of orgs working collaboratively to interconnect the work that we all do in a communal fashion. There will be over 30 community based orgs coming together to connect youth with resources as well as over 15 different orgs performing and 100+ youth working and help run the event. It is a completely free event and is Sunday July 19th from 2PM-8PM at !
