There is something to be said for "going with the flow." Alyssa + Scott remained in high spirits the entire day because they got to marry each other despite the jokes that mother nature was playing. April Fools Day and mother nature started with heavy downpours and fog but cleared up to be gorgeous and warm for the ceremony and portrait session. By the time first dance came, there were tornado warnings and lightening! She cleared back up by the time night portraits came around. The whole time, they remained smiling without a care in the world. It was such an honor to photograph these two sealing their love!

Question: Do we *really* want to stop dancing and go outside for night photos? Do we need them?
Answer: If you aren't doing an exit photo with sparklers or bubbles, a mini night photo session is a great way to help complete the full story. It's also a nice little getaway mid-reception for a private moment with your new forever. Receptions often pull couples apart to cover more ground with saying hello or one is a dancer/the other isn't, so doing a night photo will bring you back together and then you can really punch the party up when you go back!

Marissa + Dan's engagement session was one for the books. Bring on the warm weather and couple's not afraid of big wave!
