To the therapists, social workers, and healers who are running on fumes: The system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as intended.
We are taught that self-care is the solution to systemic exploitation. But we can’t bubble bath our way out of a productivity model that demands 30+ hours a week while you drown in paperwork and secondary trauma.
The industry counts on our guilt to keep us compliant. It uses our hearts as leverage to make us accept low wages, high caseloads, and total burnout.
It’s time to change the script:
• Stabilize Yourself: You cannot lead anyone out of a burning building if you’re coughing from smoke inhalation. Financial and emotional stability is a radical act of rebellion.
• Take Back Your Power: Reclaim your time. Set the boundaries that are actually life-saving.
• Give to Your Community: When we stop pouring our energy into soul-sucking institutions, we have the overflow to actually show up for our neighbors and each other.
• Collapse the System: By refusing to play the game of endurance, we force the industry to change. We move from being cogs in a machine to architects of a new way of healing.
You were never meant to be a martyr. You were meant to be a healer. And healers need a village, too.

✊ Ready to stop surviving and start subverting?

We are building a community of therapists who are done with the status quo. No gatekeeping, no hustle culture - just collective energy and genuine support.

Comment “HELPERS” below to join our free community and let’s build something that actually sustains us.

In the mental health field, self-love is not a sentiment.
It is a survival strategy.

In private practice, self-love often looks like choosing healthier systems over toxic ones.

Many therapists stay tied to insurance not because it works, but because it feels too risky to leave.

If you have been questioning whether insurance is actually supporting your practice, you are not alone. We hear this almost every day.

This week we are hosting a live strategy session on how to build a practice that is not dependent on insurance, and how to think through that transition without losing clients.

Therapists are burning out not because we’re doing our jobs wrong; we’re burning out because we’re allowing insurance, Better Help like platforms, and not collecting fees to create instability in our private practices, and in our roles. Here’s how to break free and build a practice that actually supports you:

1. Girl, dump him. Leave the low paying group practice and the toxic cycle.

2. Depanel from low paying unpredictable insurance panels. We have a system where we help therapists do this with ease and a safe process.

3. Love yourself by working with a team that can help you brand, market, build yourself up, and communicate to the world that you’re here doing what you LOVE.

4. Set fees that support you so that when you do give, it’s doable and sustainable.

5. Most of all, JOIN OUR FREE COMMUNITY, and make healthy friends doing the same (link in bio or comment FREEDOM)

Self love is a gift. It’s time to give it to yourself!
