Our friends at Ensemble Arts Philly are bringing back Philadelphia’s favorite summer happy hour!

Head to Balcony Bar at Curtain Call every Wednesday this summer, part of Center City SIPS! Enjoy Broad Street views, rotating DJs, and food + drink specials from 5–7 PM. June 3 through August 26, rain or shine, at the Kimmel Center.

2026/27 Season Promotions// Congratulations to Roo Jacobsen, Gabriel Saad, and Alberto Gil Vicente on their promotions to Apprentice.

Roo Jacobsen trained with Ballet West Academy, Royal Ballet School, and the Sacramento Ballet Second Company. Jacobsen joins Philadelphia Ballet as an Apprentice for the 2026/27 Season.

Gabriel Saad began his training at the Washington School of Ballet and has also participated in summer programs at American Ballet Theatre on scholarship, Royal Ballet School, and Dutch National Ballet Academy. Gabriel Saad joined Philadelphia Ballet II for the 2025/26 Season before being promoted to Apprentice for the 2026/27 Season.

Alberto Gil Vicente trained at the Professional Conservatory of Madrid, The Royal Ballet School, and Boston Ballet II. He has received numerous international awards, including the Youth Grand Prix at Youth America Grand Prix, Gold Medal and Best Male Dancer at the International Ballet Competition of Havana, and First Prize at Tanzolymp, as well as top prizes at Dance Open America and other international competitions. Gil Vicente joins Philadelphia Ballet as an Apprentice for the 2026/27 Season.
