O.P. Veteran

The other day, a board member posted on his personal page a post that clearly crossed many lines. I do not agree with what was said, however I failed to address it in a timely manner. I take full 100% responsibility for that failure to act. It rested with me, and I didn't act fast enough or decisively enough. In the coming days, I will be resigning from O.P. Veteran. Talks are being has as to the future of O.P. Veteran, but I do not think anyone has the bandwidth to run it. Once a plan has been made, I will share it here so that everyone is aware. I do apologize for my inaction in this matter. I appreciate those who has supported us through the years, and I ask that you continue to support nonprofits which speak to your heart.

Today we closed out our very first female O.P. Veteran Garrison Retreat. What am amazing weekend. We had the honor of spending the weekend with some amazing women. Between the mindful thinking class, the Painting with a Veteran, and deep dive into resiliency. This was one of our best retreats to date. I have to give a huge thank you to my Team. Mario Cavazos, Melissa Barrón Sosa, Violet Dussault, Adriana Edwards, and Kris Vandenberg..... Y'all knocked it out of the park. I am so proud of y'all. The planning, prep, and ex*****on couldn't have been better. I also want to send a special thank you to our sponsors.
