Texas voters will decide the Democratic nominee for attorney general in a May 26 runoff election between State Sen. Nathan Johnson and former Galveston Mayor Joe Jaworski. 🗳️
The attorney general is Texas' top lawyer, responsible for defending the state in court, investigating human trafficking cases, enforcing child support laws and managing public records access.
