Dear patients and clients,

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Pflugerville Wellness Center with Dr. Trent Peng as owner and clinic director. Some of you have been with us the entire time, we appreciate you very much! Thank you for trusting your health and wellness with us, especially during the difficult Covid times. We look forward to the next 10 years of having your back (chiropractic joke 😏), and will introduce exciting new therapies/services for the upcoming year.

Finally, I would like to show you what I’ve been doing (apart from clinical care) for the past 10 years. I’ve got a Masters and then a PhD degree in Public Health, Epidemiology (aka research on risk factors to diseases) from the U of Texas Health Science Center (degree pictured). I have several publications already on the risk factors of low back pain (obesity) and utilization of chiropractic care in the US. Now you can tell people your chiropractor is also a PhD researcher! 😄

We are looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to work at our office! This is an employee position and we will provide sheets and you bring your lotions. We have an easygoing, team environment. Looking to fill weekday Mon-Fri afternoon (PM) shifts. Saturday morning (4 hours) a plus. Looking to hire ASAP. Generously hourly pay. Both the Texas Chiropractic and Massage board have indicated that, if you have musculoskeletal pain/symptoms that necessitate treatment, we can definitely see you!

We are also seeing DOT physical exams.

People seeking wellness (ie. no pain/symptom) chiropractic or massage treatment are still recommended to stay home and not seek treatment. Also, weight loss consultations are still closed until further notice, but dieters can purchase products or arrange a curbside pickup. We will gradually bring all our massage staff back, but for now, we have Venessa available and her hours are

Dear patients and clients of Pflugerville Wellness Center,

Travis County Judge has issued a shelter-at-home order effective 11:59 today, March 24th, 2020. Even though chiropractic is considered an essential healthcare provider, we feel that we need to minimize the chance of COVID-19 spread and to protect patients and staff from potential exposure. Therefore, we are ceasing operation effective immediately. We will still see patients on a LIMITED basis (patients with acute flare-ups/drivers with expiring DOT medical cards). We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope the situation is temporary, and we are planning to re-open early to mid-April. Together, we can fight this nasty COVID-19 (by keeping distance)!
