RIGHT NOW (3:00 PM first pitch), your Pewaukee Pirates Varsity Baseball team is taking the field for the first State Championship game in program history!

With a school-record 29-2 season, the Pirates are making their sixth WIAA State Tournament appearance and their first-ever trip to the championship game. Previous state appearances came in 1971, 1972, 2015, 2021, and 2022.

Adding to the storybook run, assistant coach and Pewaukee alum Steven McGowen was a pitcher on the 2015 State Tournament team and is now helping lead this year's squad in pursuit of a state title.

Mark your calendars for a "Pirate Preview" into what you need to know as a new Pewaukee High School student! This freshmen orientation will take place on Wednesday, August 12th from 9AM-12PM.

What a time to be a Pirate! Your PHS Varsity Baseball team is STATE BOUND!

Your Pirates are officially headed to the WIAA State Tournament! Lined by Pirate fans, Summer School students, and escorted by local police and fire departments, the team received an unforgettable send-off before making the trip to Grand Chute and Fox Cities Stadium.

As the No. 1 seed in Division 2, Pewaukee (28-2) will face No. 4 seed Somerset (20-9) in the State Semifinals on Wednesday, June 17, at approximately 11:30 a.m. at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The game will follow the 9:00 a.m. semifinal matchup.

With a win, the Pirates will advance to the Division 2 State Championship game on Thursday, June 18, at 3:00 p.m. against the winner of the Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic vs. Waupun semifinal.
