Brand new prints up for sale today! What words and phrases were first used in print the year you were born? Seven of them are featured on each of these birth year prints. So far we have each year in the 1980s completed and ready for sale. More years coming soon! Link in comments 👇👇👇
SALE! A number of my "travel poster" prints are now on sale in my etsy shop for 60% off retail price—including the most popular Emerald City, Narnia, Wonderland, and Jurassic Park prints and a number of prints from Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings! Both sizes are on sale: $4 for 9"x12" prints (normally $12) and $5.50 for 12"x18" prints (normally $16).
PLUS one special set: all 14 of the Hunger Games travel posters (Districts 1 through 13 plus The Capitol), 8"x12" size, is on sale for $40 (normally $118).
And, YES, the free shipping for orders of at least three items still applies to all sale items!
Please note: Although all of these prints are currently in stock, there's a possibility I'll run out of shipping supplies mid-run, so please allow 1-2 weeks for your prints to ship out, as usual!

My first two maps are now available for sale! Magical Great Britain (Harry Potter), available on parchment-look and plain white backgrounds, 12"x12" up to 30"x30" and Sonoma County Wine Map, available on mint polka-dot, beige linen, and plain white backgrounds, 12"x18" up to 24"x26".
Full disclosure: I don't have mailing tubes on hand for anything larger than 16" wide, so it may take an extra couple of days for your poster to ship out. That said, I've been well within my shipping estimates for most orders, so everything should still be shipped within two weeks.

In honor of having 100 listings on my etsy shop, I wanted to roll out my new donation policy, show off today's new designs, and make a special offer to all my FB friends and supporters (be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for the code!).
Recently I read this poem by rupi kaur:
of course
i want to be
successful but
i don't crave
success for me
i need to be
successful
to gain enough
milk and honey
to help those
around me
succeed
Activists I follow and deeply value the work of have repeatedly encouraged that we do more than lip service to the causes we support. With that in mind, I wanted to restructure how I'm using the proceeds from my etsy shop.
10% of the proceeds from some posters will be donated to worthy organizations (such as National Parks Service and Higher Heights).
10% of ALL sales will be donated directly to marginalized individuals in the following ways:
—supporting journalists and activists directly or on Patreon
—supporting housing- and/or food-insecure folks directly via vetted sites
—giving to groups that redistribute donations for specific causes (such as providing holiday dinners and scholarships to marginalized populations in need)
And the remainder of the proceeds are helping me to pay down my own debt and fund my own personal giving, which goes above and beyond the 20% donated. In fact, this year, I probably donated the entire profits I made from my prints business. I don't say this to get accolades, but to show my supporters that I do put my money where my mouth is and support the people/efforts I care about in practical ways.
Finally: I want to express my gratitude to all my friends and supporters for holding me up, giving me ideas, critiquing and engaging me honestly, bolstering my mental health and self-esteem, and giving me business advice.
I didn't have a single poster completed at the beginning of this year, and I didn't believe I could draw or create anything of my own (for complicated reasons I won't share here). But now I have over 100 separate prints and posters available for purchase, the majority of which I designed and hand-drew, as well as teaching myself how to use Adobe Illustrator.
So for the new year, and for my Facebook friends only (and their friends—do feel free to share this post), I want to offer a special deal for the next 36 hours ONLY. 15% off anything in my shop using this code: FB15OFF — and don't forget I'm offering free shipping on any purchase of three or more posters (this means any poster set counts, even though it's only one listing). It's automatic, no code needed.
Again, thank you all.
