Cleaning mistakes can happen before you even pick up a cloth.
Swipe through for how we clean waterproof and non-waterproof Point Source Audio EMBRACE on-ear lavaliers. (Last frame for the step that’s easy to skip, but protects the longevity of your mics.)
Quick check list for your next cleaning session:
✅ “W” in the model number = IP57 waterproof. Clean it accordingly.
✅ Untrench the mic from the earmount before you touch anything.
✅ 70% isopropyl on the earmount is the sweet spot for capsule-safe disinfection.
✅ Dip the element, shake excess, never blow air through it.
✅ Element facing down to air dry. Always.
✅ Windscreens hold bacteria. Soap and water, air dry, and pull them off after every use.
✅ Clean mic never goes back against a dirty one. Separate cases, every time.
Save this for your next cleaning day.

Two mics. One cable. No second-guessing.
That’s the point of the CONFIDENCE line.
When you’re on a show where losing the signal isn’t an option — broadcast, high-profile live, quick-change talent — running a single lav is a risky bet to make.
The Point Source Audio CO2 dual element mics put two unique elements in one cable so you can double-mic without doubling your rig time, your visual footprint, or your stress level. 😅

The instrument isn’t mic’d... but she is. 👀
Classical violinist Sandy Cameron’s setup isn’t a workaround. It’s one use case the Point Source Audio EMBRACE on-ear lavalier line was designed for.
No clips. No hardware on the violin.
For strings, clipping to the body or tailpiece means visible hardware, more rigging decisions, and one more thing that can shift mid-performance.
The EO-8WL wearable mic sits on-ear for a cleaner rig, cleaner look, and simpler workflow, while maintaining consistent capture.
Special thanks to Sandy Cameron, Irene Kim, Randy Abrams, Tyson Lozensky, Coleman Beltrami, Niko Baur, and Arthur Grigoryan for sharing their incredible work. 👏👏👏
