Next up, meet Eden!

We rescued several dogs from Kern County Animal Services. Today, we're honored to introduce Eden.

Four times, she came dangerously close to losing her life. 💔

For nearly a year, this beautiful young girl lived in the shelter system, watching people come and go while she waited... and waited... never knowing if tomorrow would be her last. On four separate occasions, she escaped euthanasia.

Then everything changed.

Eden became a Roxy's Ranch Haven dog. ✨

Instead of being overlooked again, she was finally given what every dog deserves, a chance.

We knew Eden needed more than just a foster home. She needed someone to help her understand that the world wasn't so scary. She needed patience, structure, and someone who believed in her.

So she spent the past several weeks working with a professional trainer, and the transformation has been nothing short of incredible.

Today, Eden is confident, engaged, and eager to learn. She already knows loose leash walking, leash pressure, sit, beginning recall, leash engagement, and more. She's both crate trained and house trained, and with consistency and routine, she settles beautifully into home life.

She's still a puppy at heart, full of joy and love. She adores people, enjoys other dogs, and wakes up every day ready for whatever adventure comes next. Because of her strong prey drive, she'll do best in a home without cats or pet birds.

Eden's future is brighter than it's ever been, but one thing is still missing...

A family. 🏡

She'll thrive with someone who enjoys training and is willing to continue working with the amazing trainers who already know her in Sebastopol through both group and individual sessions. Every lesson helps her confidence grow, and every success reminds us just how far she's come.

The shelter almost became the end of Eden's story.

Instead, we hope it's only the beginning.
