I can’t believe it’s been 10 years!
All the horses were so young!
Since then, we lost Joe and Willow.
Adopted Hope to an amazing home,
And Kali, who is 26 now, has slowed way down!
It has been 10 amazing years of rescue!
Thank you to everyone who helped support us throughout the years!!

🚨 Urgent Help Needed for Two Geldings🚨
These two beautiful geldings are in urgent need of a safe place to land — together.
They are the brothers of Rhythm, one of our cherished rescue horses at Equine Assistance Project. We’ve been wanting for years to reunite them, and we finally have the opportunity… but we need help.
💔 The family caring for the two boys have to leave their property and can no longer keep them. We were prepared to step in, but we simply cannot take on two more horses without financial support.
🛑 Here’s what we need:
A loving, forever home or foster home where they can stay together
OR
One or more committed monthly sponsors to cover their care costs ($800/month) so we can safely bring them into the rescue. We already have a commitment of $300 a month for 6 months, but need help with the balance for the 6 months or longer(until we can place them).
These boys are gentle, bonded, and deserve a secure, loving future together. We have room and the will to help… we just don’t have the funding.
If you’ve ever thought about sponsoring a rescue horse, this is the time. If you know someone looking for a sweet pair of geldings to give a soft landing to, please reach out.
📩 DM us or email [email protected] if you can help — even sharing this post could make the difference. Let's give these boys the second chance they’ve waited so long for. ❤️

Update on Little Girl: First off I want to say, I am the admin of this group and NO this is not a scam. We are a nonprofit horse rescue Equine Assistance Project. Little Girl is a rescue horse.
So Update: The vet came out today and Little Girl has two really bad abscesses on two of her feet. The vet was nice enough to discount some of the costs and the bill for today came to $479.00(see receipt below). Our big issue now is that because she is in pain, she is kicking and its not safe for us to treat her here at the rescue.
At this point, we had two options, euthanize her(not an option for me) or the vet offered to take her home and treat her for the next month, where she can sedate her every couple days.
The cost for her to go to the vet for a month is $3000. (waiting for her to email me a copy of the agreement which I will post.)
The only reason I am not doing a Facebook Fundraiser or Some other platform is they charge us a fee now and take 30 days to get the funds!
I personally have supported the rescue for over two years now and really could use the help!!
SO please, every little bit helps!
💔 Little Girl Needs a Miracle 💔
This is a hard post for me to write. Our sweet rescue horse, Little Girl, is in serious trouble. She has suddenly gone lame in three legs, and without immediate vet care, her future is uncertain. Our vet has reviewed her condition and needs to come out as soon as possible—but the visit alone will cost $600, and we simply don’t have the funds right now.
Little Girl has already been through so much, and despite the odds stacked against her, we refuse to give up on her. Some might see her as a lost cause, but we see a fighter—a horse who still has so much love and life left to give.
We are asking, begging, for your help today. Please, if you can donate even a few dollars, it will make all the difference in giving Little Girl the chance she deserves. And if you can’t donate, please share this post!
