All aboard the Perth Amboy History Bus Tour!
Join the Perth Amboy Free Public Library on Friday, June 27, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a unique journey through Perth Amboy's rich colonial and Revolutionary War history!

Your special tour guides, George and Martha Washington, will lead participants aboard a trolley bus to visit four of Perth Amboy's most historic landmarks:

📍 Liberty Bell Replica at City Hall Circle
📍 Ferry Slip Museum
📍 St. Peter's Episcopal Church
📍 Proprietary House

Discover how Perth Amboy played a significant role in American history long before our nation declared independence and learn how our city found itself in the crossfire of the American Revolution as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of America's independence.

The afternoon begins at the Perth Amboy Free Public Library with colonial-style food and beverages before boarding the trolley. Guests will travel to each historic site and return to the library at the conclusion of the tour.

This is a wonderful opportunity for residents, families, history enthusiasts, and visitors to experience Perth Amboy's remarkable past firsthand.

This free public event is made possible through a partnership between the Perth Amboy Free Public Library, the friend of the Perth Amboy Library, Mayor Helmin Caba's Administration, the Perth Amboy Urban Enterprise Zone, the Perth Amboy 250th Committee, the Office of Economic Development, and the Business Improvement District.
