Perryton Rette Volleyball

Hats off to these 4 incredible ladies and 2 great coaches! Teresa Gray stepped up to coach our 17u’s today when they had no coach and while she did that Shannon Leigh Waterbury stepped up to coach the 15u’s. Due to injuries, sickness, etc our 15u’s dwindled to only 4 as of this morning😳 After speaking with officials, they were given the okay to play for the day but knowing they would have to count each game as a loss due to lack of players. They also had to lose a point each time their “ghost player” was up for a serve. Despite all of these obstacles, these 4 played their hearts out, smiled, encouraged one another & even beat another team in a set 26-24. These 4 are the definition of what you look for in a great player-determination, resiliency, grit, and a fantastic attitude. They are better players because of today and our program is better for having them as a part of it. Proud doesn’t begin to describe it!🏐👊🏼

PPVC hopes everyone had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed the time together with your families!

We WILL be hosting practices this coming Sunday (December 28) at the Kelley Gym at PJH for those that are in-town! Times are the same:

13’s & 15’s: 2:00-4:00 PM
12’s: 4:00-5:30 PM
17’s: 5:30-7:30 PM

On another note, due to some challenges in scheduling, we will be delaying the first tournament, but will be adding an additional one for each age group with details to come! Stay tuned! See you Sunday!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be held Monday, November 17th during lunch at PHS! Lunch will be provided and it’s an amazing time to spend time with friends and learn about God’s love for you! Come join us in the Ranger Gym tomorrow!

We will be doing open gym today, next Sunday and then will kickoff tryouts for club volleyball on Sunday, December 7 (3:30-5:30 PM).
