This breaded pork chops recipe is simply delicious! Hope you like it!
INGREDIENTS:
• 4 pork chops
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/3 tsp. pepper
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp. water
• salt and pepper, to taste
• 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
• canola oil, for frying
DIRECTIONS:
1. Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. Let sit for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
2. In a bowl, combine the flour and garlic and set it aside.
3. In another bowl, whisk the egg with water and season with salt and pepper until well blended then set it aside.
4. Cover each pork chops with flour.
5. Dip each pork chop in the egg mixture until well coated. Then roll the pork chops in the breadcrumbs.
6. Shake off any excess crumbs then place the pork chops on a clean plate and let it rest for approximately 10 to 15 minutes for the coating to set.
7. Heat oil in a skillet (or fryer) over medium heat. Fry breaded pork chops for about 10 to 12 minutes on each side, turning them only once.
8. Drain the pork chops on paper towels.
9. Serve and enjoy!
