In this position, you will be responsible for assisting onsite personnel, use of power and hand tools, and following all location site health and safety regulations. Requirements
-18 years or older
-Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.
-General knowledge of hand and power tools
-Current driver’s license

-Able to occasionally travel overnight
-OSHA 10 or 30 preferred but not required

At United Modular, the Construction CDL Driver is a multi-faceted position. The Construction CDL Driver typically hauls oversized modular buildings for our customers. In addition, the Construction CDL driver may be asked to set up and/or tear down the modular building. Hauls and jobs are generally local, which allows our Construction CDL Drivers to be home most nights and weekends. United Modular provides the truck, training, equipment, tools, and PPE that will enable the Construction CDL Driver to be successful.

Requirements:
- Valid CDL A license
- Current DOT physical or ability to pass one
- 2 years CDL experience
- 21 years or older
- General knowledge of tools
- Ability to lift or move 50 pounds

Challenge - place the 12x60 next to the Toll Bridge Office that is getting torn down. Oh, and you have 4 hours to get the job done because we have to open the toll lane by 3:00 pm. After the Jersey Barriers were removed, United Modular turned the unit around, jumped the ditch and two curbs with our Translift. Job completed by 2:00!

Pretty cool week - two setup projects at Penn State. Guys did a great job on a holiday shortened week. Tomorrow, we tailgate at the Penn State football game!
