5 Sons Plaster and Remodeling

Just finished this beautiful custom shower. Took longer than expected but turned out okay. Of course I forgot to take the final pictures after the doors, handles, and shower head was installed.

Me…. Hey customer didn’t you install corner beads? Customer… oh no it looks fine… me… I’m not plastering anything without corner beads… customer… okay!

While preparing this ceiling for new plaster after water damage I had to move plumbing up and install brackets to hold it in place. As soon as I touched the active plumbing it started leaking. Plan is to replace with pex tomorrow before installing the new plaster board. Not planned but definitely the best option with the age and condition of the copper lines. While investigating the leak I noticed the copper was kinked and had a dent where the leak was. This will be done correctly so the ceiling won’t be destroyed by water again. At least not for at least 20 years.
