Peoria Fire Explorers - Post 50

Peoria Fire Explorers spent the hot humid evening learning about sprinkler systems and broken sprinkler heads. (The cellar nozzle was just an extra bit of fun!) Our explorer post has reached our maximum safe and operable membership of 25 youth. Any interest in joining will be deferred until January 2026.

Tonight the Peoria Fire Explorer’s worked on engine and ladder company tasks. Raising ground ladders, fire hose and appliances, and aerial ladders. If you or someone you know (age 14-21) is interested in a hands on approach to learning what it take to be Fire/Rescue professional, reach out as we will be recruiting new Fire Explorers for 2024!
