What no artist will ever show you 👀 👇 It’s not the beautiful paintings that took hours to perfect. It’s the ones that got thrown in the trash halfway through. It’s the tears that fell on the paper because nothing was turning out right. It’s the nights spent wondering if I’m even good enough to keep doing this. No one shows you the silence after posting something you worked so hard on.. when no one likes, comments, or even notices. Or the comparison that creeps in when you see others selling out their collections while you can’t even sell one print. There are days when painting feels like breathing, and days when it feels like dragging yourself through mud. Some days I look at my work and think wow, I’m really doing it. And the next day I’ll question if I’ve lost my spark completely. What no artist will ever show you is how lonely it can be to keep creating from your soul and hoping someone out there connects with it. But also how powerful it feels when even one person says, Your art made me feel something. It’s not all pretty palettes and soft brushes. It’s frustration, doubt, resilience, and a quiet kind of courage that says, I’ll paint again tomorrow. Because even when the world doesn’t clap, even when no one sees, the artist keeps showing up.
