For many of the men and women who come through our doors, spiritual rest begins with simply being welcomed, prayed for, and reminded that they are not alone. 💙

Guests have access to daily chapel services, prayer, encouragement from chaplains, biblical guidance, and spiritual support throughout their time at the Mission. In seasons filled with uncertainty, hardship, or brokenness, these moments can bring peace, hope, and renewed purpose.

While the Mission provides physical rest through shelter, meals, and care, we also believe in helping people find the hope and healing that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every day, men and women come through our doors searching for relief — a safe place to sleep, a cool place to rest, a warm meal, and compassionate care. But beyond meeting immediate needs, the Mission also offers opportunities for lasting life change.

Through our rescue and recovery programs, guests receive support tailored to their unique situations, including individualized case management, workforce development, housing assistance, spiritual guidance, and addiction recovery.

As they begin rebuilding their lives, many find something deeper than physical rest, they find peace of mind, renewed hope, and the encouragement needed to move toward healing, stability, and their next chapter.

1 in 4 people experiencing homelessness has a companion animal. 🐾 For many, that bond can make seeking shelter more complicated.

We're excited to open the doors to Waterfront Mission Pensacola's Pet Kennel this fall. Eliminating this barrier to entry will help more individuals get off the streets and into safe shelter, helping change more lives.

Waterfront Mission is experiencing winter-level numbers in the middle of May. Last night alone, we provided a night of shelter to 230 men and 50 women across our Pensacola and Mobile campuses.

Of those staying with us, 144 men and women are currently in our case-managed rescue and recovery programs- the highest number we have seen in recent years. We believe this growth is happening for a couple of reasons:

-Waterfront continues working to break down barriers that often keep people from seeking help.
-Members of our community are inviting our homeless friends to the mission by handing out Waterfront Tokens.
-Individuals coming to Waterfront are finding a clean, safe environment where their immediate needs can be met.
-Our staff is having intentional conversations with our guests and helping them see a future beyond addiction and homelessness.

Please join us in praying for the men and women walking through our doors, and our staff and volunteers as they continue to serve with the compassion and dignity of Jesus Christ. 🙏

You can also make an impact by shopping our registries for current needs, volunteering your time, or making a direct donation. See how at https://linktr.ee/waterfrontmission. 💙
