All Gussied Up

Tomorrow begins the start of coming back to work. Staci and I have worked hard to clean the shop and think through all the new regulations and rules for servicing our clients. I want to inform everyone how some of the new regulations will work
1. The door will remain locked durning buisness hours. At the time of your service we will reach out to you and tell you when you can come in the shop. Please don’t bring family with as there is a small number of people that can be in shop at one time
2. Everyone needs to wear a mask
3. Any fever or cough or other covid symptoms needs to be shared with us so we can reschedule your appointment. We will not work on sick clients. Period. We will hold ourselves to this same rule. We will not work on clients if we have a fever or cough as well
4. For the time being there will be no magazines in shop so bring your own if you will want to read
5. When entering shop hand washing will be expected. We also will have hand sanitizers

It is so hard for me to have all these new rules to enforce. For me and my shop a big part of my love for this job is running it like it is my home and you all are welcome to come and visit and drink some coffee or wine and maybe stay for a service too. These new rules make me feel uncomfortable so please be patient as we navigate new waters. I truly hope we can get back to a simpler time and I hope that our hard work of slowing the spread of this virus will make my wish true. Over the last few years I’ve seen a lax of common sense behavior like coming to appts sick or not washing hands after using restroom. I am hoping this pandemic will remind us why these behaviors are so important
