Warning long post…. WE DO RECOVER!!
First off I think I should give my self a pat on the back. I have been substance free for 10 years, one decade, 3,653 days, 5259600 minutes. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about having a drink or getting loaded. They say One Day at a Time. Sometimes it’s five minutes or less that the little devil on your shoulder is saying it’s ok, just one won’t hurt you.

Less than half of those who achieve a year of sobriety will relapse. By making it to 5 years of sobriety, your chance of relapse is less than 15 per cent.
It only takes one.

I am not perfect and never will be perfect. I couldn’t have done it without the help of friends and loved ones. Jenee Gillespie is my number one supporter, thanks you babe I love you!! She is an amazing human. Cheers to another day!!
