Good morning folks! I will have tulips for sale Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18, at the farm stand starting at 8 am until supply runs out. This will be the last round of tulips for 2026 season. 🌹
It’s always a bitter sweet moment when tulip season ends. I’m always excited to see them coming up and kind of sad when I look out at an empty field. When it’s their time to shine, they wake up and I pull them rain or shine! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out in pouring down rain, muddy shoes and soaking wet, gently pulling them from the ground. The tulips are placed in the shop on newspaper to dry before being stored in the cooler. Storing tulips wet promotes mold inside the flower bud itself, which makes a pretty unsightly bouquet! Once they’re placed on paper, I drop the temperature in the shop to keep them from opening to quickly. I occasionally use an oscillating fan to dry them quicker. It’s a fine line with tulips but they are so worth it, especially after a long bleak Indiana winter. Their colors are a welcome sight!

Hello and good morning to you! We finally made it to a much anticipated Friday. Sounds like it might a wet weekend for Easter egg hunting. Hope you and your family enjoy the Easter holiday.
The day has finally arrived, it’s our first weekend of tulip sales! Tulips will be available in the farm stand at 8 am today, April 4th. Each bundle is $20 each, we accept cash and venmo. Double tulips are not quite ready to harvest as they are normally one of the last to bloom.
