I could have found a hundred reasons not to go.

Too much money.
Too much work to catch up on.
Too much time away.
Too much happening at home.

But I went anyway.

And I’m so glad I did.

Being in a room full of people who are also building, stretching, learning, doubting, and showing up reminded me of something I needed:

The investment is not just in the experience itself.
It is in the person you become because you said yes.

Whether it is education, rest, portraits, artwork, or something else entirely — the things that matter rarely feel convenient at first.

But they do matter.

And sometimes the thing you keep putting off is the very thing that brings you back to yourself.
