Lola The Rescued Cat

Greetings and salutations!
Wow, it's been such a long time since I've checked in with all of our friends. Please know My Mom and I think about you all very often.
I'm doing great! I'm happy and healthy, and enjoying life. I even went to the groomer and had a bath and a haircut! That was a first for me.
My Mom and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! We received some cards from our Facebook family, and we mailed some out as well. We used our list from last year, and we hope we sent to everyone who sent to us. I'm going to let her say a few words now.
Hi, everyone. I hope you're all doing well. It makes me sad to think about our page and how silent it has been. There was a time when it was so active, and so many of you took the time to comment on our posts. I know our posts brought joy to so many people.
Life has been crazy the past two years. Yes, it has been almost two years since Lola passed in January of 2024. It's crazy how quickly time has passed. 2025 was a difficult one. Many of you remember I had skin cancer at the beginning of the year and required reconstructive surgery on my nose. Luckily, that is behind me, although I still have appointments with the plastic surgeon. There was another death in my family this year, my sister has still had health issues, and I've been having problems with my lower back and hip. Some other things have been going on, but all of this combined, including changes at work, have contributed to my not keeping this page active. One of my goals for 2026 is to post more. I don't know if I will ever get this page back to where it was, but if I can bring a smile to just a few faces, it will be worth it.
With all that said, overall, there are more positives than negatives. Ferguson is a joy! He is the sweetest boy, and I appreciate his company.
Thank you for so many messages (which I need to go through and answer) and for checking in on us. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
Ferguson and I wish you all many blessings for a Happy Holiday! And thank you for sticking with us.

Greetings and salutations, friends. I'm sorry we haven't been around lately, My Mom's job has been taking up a lot of time.
Today our good friend, Finnigan, Buddy & Finnigan 2.0 featuring Peachy made his transition to the rainbow bridge. My Mom knew him for a long time and we are very sad today.
Godspeed, Finny. Run free and say hi to my angels Lola and Lexy for me.

Friends, our hearts are sad today because Spot The Seizure Cat has made his journey to the rainbow bridge. Spot was one of my angels Lexy and Lola's very first friends on Facebook. That was over 14 years ago! Please keep his wonderful mom and human brother in your thoughts.
Godspeed, Spot. I know my angel girls were waiting for you.

Well Friends,
This is not the news we wanted to share.
The cancer is getting worse.
There’s not much more to do for me.
I’m tired anyways and I’m ready to feel better and I know I will once I get to the Rainbow Bridge.
Please be with mommy and brother David.
I honestly don’t know how they are going to survive without me.
I hope they know that I’ll always be watching over them though.
Many years ago, a vet told mommy that I wouldn’t make it to 3 years old because of my epilepsy.
Well, I guess I showed him!
I made it to 15 and it wasn’t even the stupid seizures that got me.
They are putting the catheter in now and I’ll get to spend a little more time with mommy and brother David.
They will be with me until I fall asleep and then when I wake up I’ll be in the arms of Angel and I’ll be ready to make that climb up to that golden step where I will be healed and young again.
I’ll get to see all of my siblings and furiends that have gone before me and my beautiful Auntie Teresa will be there to give me cuddles.
And I can’t forget that I’ll get to be with my beautiful Angel Girl and mama Kim.
We Love You All So Much!
Thank you for being apart of our lives! ❤️

Greetings and salutations! I know, my mom and I have been neglecting our page. I'm working with her to get better at this!
She got up from her chair today and I decided to take it over. I do this all the time! MOL Needless to say, she's going to sit someplace else.
I do have some good news to share! My mom had her final reconstruction surgery and she's doing really well! Everything looks really good. It will take up to a full year for everything to heal, but it's already starting.
I'm hoping now that she's back to almost normal we can start to post more frequently. I also need to make my debut on the blog! I'm really looking forward to that! I never thought I would ever be a blogging cat.
I miss you all! I am grateful to all of the new friends I have made here. And my mom is grateful for all of the good wishes for her recovery. I will see you soon!
XOXO
