The Peak Community Church
Paul finds contentment and care in all things through Christ and his people.
We cannot control all of our circumstances. We find strength in Christ when we accept life’s unpredictability, acknowledge our own shortcomings, and trust in the sufficient grace of a loving God and his caring followers.
When loss strips us bare and grief threatens to define us, we face a choice: Will we become bitter like Naomi, or will we allow God to restore us?
The Book of Ruth reveals a powerful truth—we don't grieve alone. Ruth refused to leave Naomi's side, demonstrating that God provides support through faithful friends in our darkest seasons. Grief is normal, but we're not meant to carry it in isolation. "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart" (Psalm 34:18).
Your pain matters to God. He doesn't promise we'll "get over it," but He does promise restoration. Like Naomi, our story doesn't end in emptiness—God weaves our grief into something redemptive. Reach out. Be someone's Ruth. Let others walk with you. We're a community, not islands.
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).
