🚨 Appeals Court Orders Sheriff to Release Kevin Henry 🚨

Brazoria County just witnessed what accountability looks like: an appeals court had to step in and order Sheriff Bo Stallman to release local watchdog Kevin Henry from jail.

Instead of owning up to this blatant violation of First Amendment rights, Stallman posts a self-pity letter about “rumors” and “political attacks.” What he doesn’t mention? That his office unlawfully jailed a citizen for exercising free speech — and had to be forced by a higher court to correct it.

This isn’t about “baseless accusations,” Sheriff. This is about your abuse of power, the silencing of critics, and the erosion of public trust. Transparency doesn’t mean jailing watchdogs. Accountability doesn’t mean blaming others while hiding behind press releases.

The people of Brazoria County deserve a Sheriff who upholds the Constitution — not one who has to be checked by the courts to follow it.

We’re watching, Sheriff Stallman. The First Amendment isn’t optional.
